What is Jogada Education?
Action lies at the core of change for a better future for all. Without hope and collective efficacy, action is not possible. Jogada Education focuses on transforming barriers such as eco-anxiety and hopelessness towards collective action.
We combine research-backed methods with play-based education to develop tools, workshops, and ready-to-use materials. We work in parallel with Transformative ESD (BNE 3 in German). Our goal is to foster transformation by empowering people, reaching schools, universities, NGOs, and companies.

About Us
After meeting in the MSc in Preneurship for Regenerative Food Systems at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in 2024, Andréa, Leah, and Doruk quickly realized they shared similar passions: environmental awareness, education, and games!
When the opportunity to apply for a student project grant arose, the three decided to develop their first educational game focused on fostering pro-environmental behavior in teenagers, called “Future Builders”. A further opportunity from the Zurich Knowledge Center for Sustainable Development (ZKSD) laid the foundations for what is now “Jogada Education”.
Our Projects
Future Builders
“Future Builders” is a cooperative board game developed for youth, and tested by youth, educators, and youth workers.
Supported by a grant from the Sustainable Impact Program from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), it focuses on channeling eco-anxiety into individual and collective pro-environmental action by fostering self- and collective efficacy.
Play Again! / Create or Collapse?
A continuation of “Future Builders”, “Create or Collapse?” was developed with university students in mind and focuses more on team development, participatory project creation, and real-world collective action towards environmental and social issues. This project is supported by the Zurich Knowledge Center for Sustainable Development (ZKSD).
